You may wish to call on the Tourist Centers in Florence as they have so much information on the city and of the events and exhibitions that are taking place. There will be maps that you can take and brochures and leaflets on the different attractions that you’ll want to see while you’re there. They will have the latest information on what events are taking place when you’re in Florence. They can help with hotel accommodations and recommendations if you need some advice.

They will have the latest weather information, too. The weather in Florence is seasonal so during the summer months the temperatures will average in the 80’s and can be quite hot. In the winter months, temperatures are much lower and can reach freezing levels during the day. So in the summer pack lots of lightweight clothing and in the winters prepare to bundle up. However, much of your sightseeing will be done in air conditioned buildings so any time of the year is good for a visit to this historic city.
